In my experience, solar powered lights are not very bright and a bit unreliable, but this unit works great so far and is surprisingly bright considering its power source. It is still not as bright as an electric powered light would be, but it does give off plenty of light and lights my driveway up at night with ease. The quality is outstanding, and it brings a sophisticated touch to the room. I'm so pleased with how it complements the decor. I also appreciate the easy installation process.

Chandelier style lamp, looks great, has a dimmer switch. It's light enough so the rope lamp cord that comes with it is enough. No chain required.
