It takes a couple of hours to put it all together..but the end result is Beautiful, and well worth all the time and effort. The Chandelier completes my room!!!!! I Love it!!!! These lamps are exquisite! The lamps reflect a soft ambient light when aimed at the wall. The lights are dim-able and easy to adjust with the floor button. I am an artist and I ordered these to get the right kind of light without glare or making overhead shadows. These function like flattering photo studio fill lighting. They look terrific, very elegant and minimal. I am going to be ordering more now for home as well as working studio. I want another pair to put on the shelf that begins my library of books.
