I installed this light over a round glass dining table and it is beautiful. It takes six light bulbs which offer plenty of light, and the shells soften it to a lovely glow. Installing the light was easy, I was able to do it by myself. I used only one of the two down rods. Attaching the shells is time consuming but not difficult. The shells are packaged by length with several extra shells in case any are damaged. I did not need the extras and found that the shells are durable despite being thin enough to be translucent. I shopped for this style of light for a few weeks and found the quality and price of this one to be great The quality is outstanding, and it brings a sophisticated touch to the room.
